Continuous Improvement Manager

We are a fast-growing ready-to-eat food production company based in Wolcott, Indiana. We are an extension of an established and leading food manufacturer in the US that produces a staple food in the American household.

We are currently the only known product on the market with a patent. We are growing our business and even expanding globally!

Currently the team is hiring a CI Manager in Walcott, IN. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the maintenance, design, and improvements in our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a strong technical background in food production and manufacturing. Responsibilities:
As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and plant facilities.
2. Implementing and managing all maintenance activities to improve production efficiency.
3. Utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
4. Ensuring compliance with OSHA and GMP regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
5. Implementing and maintaining HACCP and SQF systems to ensure the highest quality of food products.
6. Developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
7. Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
8. Working closely with production and quality assurance teams to identify and solve manufacturing challenges.
9. Participating in the design and improvements of manufacturing processes and product lines.
10. Leading and training the maintenance team to ensure a high level of competence and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
3. Strong technical knowledge of food production and manufacturing processes.
4. Proven experience with Six Sigma, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, and SQF.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead a team.
6. Strong organizational and project management skills.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
10. Proficient in the use of computer software, including Microsoft Office and CAD software.
