Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycle, from initial planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, from planning to execution to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are carried out according to plan and that all safety regulations are followed.
• Review blueprints and project plans to ensure that all specifications and regulations are met.
• Perform regular inspections of construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Manage scheduling, including coordinating deliveries, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are available when needed, and adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate unexpected delays or changes.
• Handle site management responsibilities, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment, resolving conflicts, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and others, providing regular updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Use construction management software to track project progress, manage resources, and generate reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction superintendent role or similar position.
• Proven experience with building renovation and retrofit, HVAC mechanical design build, electrical, power generation and controls design build, renewable energy, high altitude magnetic pulse install and testing, and civil design build.
• Proficient in construction management software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
