Responsibilities:
As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all stages of industrial, marine, and heavy construction projects from planning to completion.
2. Coordinating and supervising the work of all construction crew and subcontractors at the site.
3. Ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
4. Conducting regular inspections of the construction site to ensure that work is progressing as planned and that quality standards are being maintained.
5. Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
6. Preparing and submitting regular progress reports to the project manager and other stakeholders.
7. Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project.
8. Organizing and conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions for construction crew and subcontractors.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Construction Superintendent position should have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in industrial, marine, and heavy construction.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to dealing with issues and delays.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. A solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
7. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
9. A degree in construction management or related field would be an advantage.
