Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in the commercial construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general contractor management, commercial construction, and project management. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review and understand project plans, specifications, and contracts.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Schedule and manage timelines and subcontractor activities to ensure project milestones are met.
5. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
7. Prepare and submit progress reports, budget reports, and other necessary documentation.
8. Ensure all safety regulations are followed and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
9. Manage and mitigate project risks and issues.
10. Handle any on-site issues or emergencies in a proactive and professional manner.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven track record of managing large scale commercial construction projects from start to finish.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
4. Excellent project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
