Construction Superintendent

As a Superintendent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing a schedule and cost-effective plan for project completion.
Collaborating with the team to create preconstruction estimates and material/labor budgets.
Coordinating and scheduling the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers.
Inspecting work for quality and timeliness, providing progress reports, and making recommendations for necessary adjustments.
Collaborating with architects, engineers, inspection agencies, owner's representatives, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Ensuring compliance with contract documents and code requirements.
Obtaining all required permits from the appropriate authorities.
Leading Quality Control/Quality Assurance efforts.
Maintaining daily reports and overseeing subcontractor reporting.
Conducting subcontractor coordination meetings and preparing accurate 4-week look-ahead schedules.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Minimum of 5-10 years of combined experience in the roles of Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent.
OSHA 30-Hour Certified.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Excellent time management skills and a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Proficiency with Bluebeam.
Familiarity with Primavera (P6) or MS Project Scheduling Software.
Flexibility and willingness to travel and work at various locations.
Ability to work effectively with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
