Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects, supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, and interface with clients, architects, and consultants.
3. Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
4. Develop and implement project work plans and make revisions as necessary.
5. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily reports, and delegate tasks to construction workers and subcontractors.
6. Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
7. Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
8. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and assist in its organization, scheduling, and implementation.
9. Coordinate with building and safety inspectors to ensure the construction meets all necessary codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of construction experience in a supervisory role, specifically within commercial, industrial, and higher education sectors.
2. A strong understanding of construction procedures, materials and project management principles.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction contract administration, construction law, job cost accounting, and the ability to interpret and make decisions
based on construction documents.
4. Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
5. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”, competent in conflict and crisis management.
6. Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
7. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse workforce in multicultural settings.
8. Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
