We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Construction Superintendent with a focus on multifamily projects to join our construction team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of multifamily construction projects, from ground up construction to Podium Wrap and Wood Frame Builds. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a specific focus on multifamily projects. This role offers a challenging and rewarding work environment, with the potential for career growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our multifamily construction projects, from initial planning to completion. This includes:
1. Managing and coordinating all on-site construction activities.
2. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, budgets, and schedules.
3. Supervising and mentoring construction staff and subcontractors.
4. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations.
5. Coordinating and attending project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
6. Managing and resolving any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
7. Preparing and submitting regular progress reports to senior management.
8. Ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically with multifamily projects.
2. Proven experience with ground up construction, Podium Wrap, and Wood Frame Builds.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Proficiency in construction software programs.
10. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
