Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial and K-12 education construction projects. This is a permanent position and requires a dedicated professional who can ensure the success and timely completion of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all stages of the construction project, from initial planning to completion.
2. Manage and coordinate the work of construction crews and subcontractors.
3. Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
4. Monitor and manage project costs and timelines to prevent overruns.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean job site.
6. Act as the primary liaison between the company, clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship and materials.
8. Handle the resolution of any problems or issues that arise during construction.
9. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.
10. Facilitate on-site coordination meetings with the project team and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial and K-12 education construction projects.
2. Proven experience in managing "Commercial Ground Up", K-12 education construction projects, higher education construction, and Tilt Up.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
4. Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and control resources to meet project goals.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively coordinate and liaise with a diverse team.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
8. Proficient in using construction management software and technology.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
10. Certification in Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or similar is a plus.
