We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Contract Construction Site Superintendent to join our growing team in the Energy industry. This role is instrumental in overseeing all stages of the construction process, from planning to execution, for our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial construction, site management, and a proven track record of successful project completion. Responsibilities

As our Contract Construction Site Superintendent, your responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising all construction activities on-site, ensuring that all work is conducted in compliance with design plans, safety regulations, and project deadlines.
2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, making sure they understand their roles and responsibilities and perform tasks efficiently.
3. Reviewing and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and other construction documents, and providing input on project planning and design.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
5. Managing project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure optimal productivity and cost-efficiency.
6. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
7. Implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols on-site, promoting a culture of safety among all project personnel.
8. Collaborating with project management to develop schedules, allocate resources, and manage project budgets.
9. Providing leadership and guidance to site personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
10. Documenting all site activities and maintaining comprehensive project records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and project progress reports.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.
2. Proven experience in site management, with a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team of construction professionals.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
5. Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues quickly and effectively.
6. Proficiency in construction software and technology, including project management software and CAD programs.
7. A commitment to safety, with knowledge of construction safety regulations and protocols.
8. The ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and other related documents.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or similar are a plus.
