We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consulting Construction Site QA/QC for our rapidly growing Energy sector. This position requires a professional with a strong background in Commercial Construction, Site Superintendent, Site Management, OSHA 30, and CQM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality of works on the construction site, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. The role also includes providing technical advice and solving problems on-site. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess the quality of work and identify any non-conformance.
3. Implement and manage the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) programs on the construction site.
4. Provide technical advice to the site team and subcontractors to ensure construction compliance.
5. Conduct regular safety meetings, promote a culture of safety on the site, and ensure compliance with OSHA 30 standards.
6. Collaborate with project managers and other construction management to determine budget and timeline.
7. Document and report site activities, inspection results, and non-conformities to the project manager and other stakeholders.
8. Coordinate with the project team for resolution of project issues, ensuring that all aspects of the project are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements.
9. Develop and implement corrective actions when a discrepancy is identified.
10. Train and supervise team members on new regulations and construction methodologies to ensure understanding and compliance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the Energy industry.
3. Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or Site Manager in commercial construction projects.
4. Strong knowledge of construction QA/QC processes and methodologies.
5. Certification in Quality Management (CQM) is highly desirable.
6. OSHA 30 Certification is required.
7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
10. Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
12. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
