Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Construction Office Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the construction office, ensuring all activities align with the company's objectives and standards.

2. Supervising and mentoring project managers, fostering a supportive and professional work environment.

3. Developing and implementing effective project management strategies, procedures, and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

4. Managing workload distribution among the team to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.

5. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and within budget.

6. Utilizing your electrical background, particularly in lighting, to provide expert guidance and advice on project planning and execution.

7. Conducting regular team meetings to review project status and discuss any issues or concerns.

8. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations and safety standards.

9. Providing regular reports to senior management on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Construction Office Manager role should possess the following:

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a construction office manager role or a similar position within the construction/electrical industry.

2. Proven experience in supervising and developing project managers.

3. Demonstrable experience in workload management and developing efficient processes and procedures.

4. A strong background in construction, particularly in electrical and lighting aspects.

5. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.

6. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and project details.

7. Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction regulations and safety standards.

8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

9. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant technologies.

10. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
