We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Construction Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will involve managing a $70M multifamily/podium construction project. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, particularly in financial management using PROCORE and Microsoft Project, and have a proven track record of managing large-scale ($50M+) multifamily projects. This role requires direct dealings with subcontractors and a deep understanding of the scope of work and buyout processes in PROCORE.
Responsibilities:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a $70M multifamily/ 300+ units project from beginning to end.
2. Building a comprehensive project schedule using Microsoft Project, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for and executed on time.
3. Managing the financial aspects of the project in PROCORE and providing a comparison excel document.
4. Defining the project’s objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle.
5. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their duties and are performing them to our standard of excellence.
6. Reviewing the work progress daily and making necessary adjustments for project success.
7. Handling any issues or delays caused by subcontractors and implementing effective solutions.
8. Ensuring the project complies with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager role will have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, specifically in large-scale ($50M+) multifamily construction projects.
2. Strong experience in building a project schedule in Microsoft Projects from start to finish.
3. Proficiency in managing project financials in PROCORE and the ability to provide a comparison excel document.
4. Demonstrated experience in dealing directly with subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest standard.
5. Extensive experience with the scope of work and buyout processes in PROCORE.
6. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
7. A proven track record of successfully managing multifamily/podium construction projects.
