We are seeking a passionate and experienced Construction Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to driving sales growth and profitability in our construction business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our sales team, optimizing our sales process, managing budgets, and ensuring the achievement of sales quotas. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
2. Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
3. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
4. Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
5. Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
6. Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
7. Analyze and control expenditures of the department to conform to budgetary requirements.
8. Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
9. Direct product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
10. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
11. Manage the performance and development of the sales team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and driving sales performance.
4. Exceptional leadership skills with experience in recruiting and managing a sales team.
5. Strong understanding of sales process optimization and budget management.
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
7. Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
8. Proficiency in reporting and performance management.
9. Ability to travel as required.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
