We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering the chance to manage and oversee a variety of construction projects ranging from commercial, industrial, and school projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a specific focus on these sectors. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
2. Allocating resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Interfacing with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
5. Ensuring project operations are in compliance with design specifications and government regulations.
6. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
7. Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
8. Determining needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
9. Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards.
10. Reporting on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for the Construction Project Manager role will have the following qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
2. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
3. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
4. Proficient in construction management software.
5. Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.
6. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
8. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
9. A team player with leadership abilities.
10. BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
11. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
