Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who is passionate about construction, project management, and has a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects. This person will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and completion of construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and industrial standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction management and project management principles, budgeting, negotiation, and have experience with electrical and mechanical aspects of construction.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific construction projects from start to finish.
2. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
3. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
4. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
5. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
6. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
7. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
8. Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary.
9. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
10. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
11. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
12. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction project management, including direct responsibility for all resource allocation and management involved in projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
4. Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
5. Proficient in project management software programs.
6. Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
7. Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
8. Extensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projects.
9. Strong knowledge of construction project management software such as Procore or similar.
10. Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
11. Contract negotiation experience.
12. Experience in managing electrical and mechanical aspects of construction projects.
13. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
