Construction Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, rapidly growing construction company. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from planning to implementation. You will be managing a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction management.
• At least six (6) years of commercial construction experience required.
• Proven working experience in construction management.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction management software packages (Procore, BuildPro).
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and risk management practices.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction/project management software.
• Familiarity with safety and quality control standards.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.
