Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be working on a diverse range of projects, including commercial and industrial construction. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication skills, and a strong understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management from planning to implementation.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects, including labor, materials, and time.
3. Interface with clients, architects, and contractors on a regular basis to ensure that all parties are aligned with the project objectives and timelines.
4. Perform risk management to minimize project risks, including identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions.
5. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
6. Develop comprehensive project plans and progress reports for all stakeholders.
7. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
8. Maintain compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
9. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
10. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role.
2. Proven experience in commercial construction, industrial construction, retail, grocery stores, and self-storage facilities.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
4. Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
6. Proficient in project management software tools, applications, and MS Office.
7. Ability to work with a diverse team and build effective relationships.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
11. Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an advantage.
