Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion, coordinating and directing all contractors, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projects, with a particular focus on roofing.

Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Reviewing projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
4. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
5. Reviewing the work progress on a daily basis, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring solutions are implemented promptly.
6. Liaising with clients to interpret their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
7. Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status, and presenting them to stakeholders as required.
8. Planning and overseeing the implementation of design for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
9. Conducting on-site investigations to ensure conformance with plans and specifications and to provide technical advice to construction personnel.
10. Implementing quality control programs, ensuring the finished product meets a certain standard.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial roofing.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction materials, processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
4. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
5. Competent in conflict and crisis management, with excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in construction management software packages.
9. Familiarity with building and construction codes, laws, and regulations.
