Our client is an incredibly well-established commercial general contracting firm with roots in Louisiana going back almost 100 years now. Their services include design build, renovations, remodels, pre-construction services and construction management. With regards to projects, they specialize in public works facilities, K-12 education, warehouses, distribution centers, banks, government buildings and much more.

Currently they are looking to add a Project Manager with 3+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of projects ranging in value from $2Million-$50Million
• Produce and maintain the project schedule
• Tracking and reviewing project submittals
• Tracking and reviewing project RFI’s
• Assembling pricing for Owner changes in scope
• Developing subcontract agreements
• Tracking all material procurement and fabrication
• Document Control
• Maintaining communications & relationship with Owner/Architects

Requirements:

• College Degree preferably in a Construction Management or Engineering related discipline
• 5+ years experience supervising commercial construction projects
• Experience in project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
