Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a challenging environment. You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of our construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a problem-solver, and a strong leader who can manage multiple tasks and teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
2. Utilizing project management tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Sage, Revit, and Navisworks to plan and track project progress.
3. Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
4. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their duties and are performing them correctly.
5. Managing the design build process, ensuring designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
6. Processing permits, handling relevant documentation, and ensuring all projects comply with legal and safety standards.
7. Conducting risk management to minimize project risks and handle any potential issues or delays.
8. Estimating costs and budgets, and negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers.
9. Ensuring all work environments are adhering to OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction project management role.
2. Proficiency in project management software tools, including AutoCAD, MS Project, Sage, Revit, and Navisworks.
3. Extensive experience with design build processes, permit processing, and cost estimating.
4. Knowledge of construction procedures, building laws, and regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
8. A strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
9. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
