Summary: The Construction Project Manager is a key member who delivers projects with excellence while continually working to build the company's brand. This role provides overall management direction for existing projects, develops new business opportunities, and actively contributes to the company’s marketing efforts in acquiring work.

Primary Functions:
This role encompasses Marketing, Sales, Project Management, and Administration efforts for all construction activities, resulting in success for our team, clients, and projects.

Success is defined as:
A profitable project effectively delivered.
A client who will build with us again.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep the customer and the administrative team informed of the project status by providing reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments.
Assist in the closing out of projects by completing punch-list items, as-builts, Owner’s Manuals, etc.
Participate in weekly Project Manager discussions and contribute to the overall corporate mission.
Optimize building solutions by providing pricing and graphics as needed for projects and project opportunities.
Compile and plan budgets and cost estimates.
Initiate and maintain personal contact with clients.
Develop construction projects with architects, engineers, and senior management.
Assemble the “Construction Team,” suppliers, sub-contractors, consultants, and coordinate with Field Director for equipment and labor.
Order and manage materials.
Provide internal reporting and projections.
Oversee and supervise construction project progress.
Prepare and maintain an updated project schedule.
Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Represent the company in project meetings.
Actively participate in the marketing efforts of the company.

Requirements and Qualifications:
6 years of experience with a General Contractor as a Project Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or a related field from an accredited university.
Able to multitask, prioritize, manage time, and a team of employees efficiently.
Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Accurate and precise attention to detail.
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
In-depth understanding of the construction industry.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Project Management software preferred.
Able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules for multiple projects.
Knowledge of pertinent building codes and regulations.
Exhibit leadership while building solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
Have a desire to contribute to the overall support of the corporate mission, understand and manage the risks inherent in the industry.
Recognize the opportunities to grow the business and work to achieve that growth in conjunction with company management.
