Construction Project Director

We're a diverse consulting firm that supports construction, design, and engineering projects in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and life science spaces. We help our clients with everything from selecting subcontractors to permitting to project planning to site management to cost controls.

We're expanding our operation to the southeast and are looking for individuals who want to help grow our operation. This is a very unique opportunity to partner directly with the president of the company to grow a new market and build a team.

Competitive compensation: $120k - $160k+ (DOE)

Work remote. Travel to client sites as needed.

Requirements:

• 8+ years' experience managing construction projects for Life Science, Healthcare, or Higher Education clients
• Engineering and/or Architectural background
• Knowledge of construction industry/processes - contracts, ordering materials, project scheduling/budgeting, cost tracking, design review, etc...
• Capability to work with clients and manage field personnel
• Assist with business development efforts

Day-to-day:

• Help to plan and execute projects in tandem with the client(s) - design review, finalizing subcontracts, establishing budgets, confirming scope, scheduling materials/contractors, QA/QC, etc...
• Document control - RFIs, POs, change orders, invoice review/approval, project tracking, etc..
• Periodic travel to job sites to meet with clients and attend OAC meetings
• Prepare monthly reports for the client
