Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator, with a strong background in Interiors and Renovations, to join our growing team. This is a permanent position, offering the chance to work on a variety of exciting construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our organization, providing accurate cost estimates that drive our construction projects from the initial concept to the final build.

As a Construction Estimator, you will be expected to:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and renovation construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other
related costs.
2. Evaluate and analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
3. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects during the pre-construction phase to ensure accurate budgeting.
4. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential issues and provide appropriate mitigation strategies.
5. Solicit and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they meet project specifications and budget requirements.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost databases and estimation software.
7. Present estimates and conduct cost-benefit analysis to stakeholders and senior management.
8. Monitor project progress to identify any deviations from the budget and suggest corrective actions.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in construction materials and methods.


The ideal candidate for the Construction Estimator position should have:

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, specifically in interiors and renovations.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and estimation software.
4. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a high level of accuracy.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Professional certification in construction estimating or a related field would be an asset, but not required.
