We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a driven professional with a strong background in the engineering industry, particularly within commercial and industrial facilities and manufacturing projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving our business forward, using their skills and experience to provide accurate estimates and contribute to our strategic decision-making process. This role requires proficiency in Blue Beam and Timberline Estimating Software, along with a passion for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Estimator, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing and coordinating full project estimates, from initial planning to final bid.
2. Analyzing and interpreting project blueprints, technical drawings, and other project documents to provide accurate cost estimates.
3. Utilizing Blue Beam and Timberline Estimating Software to streamline the estimating process and improve accuracy.
4. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
5. Conducting risk assessments to identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to ensure competitive pricing.
7. Presenting estimates and bids to clients, explaining the rationale behind cost decisions and addressing any concerns or questions.
8. Collaborating with the team to refine estimating techniques and methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Estimator position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an estimator role within the engineering industry, preferably with experience in commercial and industrial facilities and manufacturing projects.
2. Proficiency in Blue Beam and Timberline Estimating Software.
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical documents and produce accurate estimates.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Detail-oriented approach, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
7. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
