Job Details:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Controller to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities for our construction projects. This includes managing invoices, accounts payable and receivable, change orders, payroll, payroll taxes, etc. This is a permanent position, offering a great opportunity to work on exciting construction projects and contribute to our company's financial success.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Manage invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and change orders to ensure accurate and timely payment transactions.
3. Oversee payroll processing, including the calculation and filing of payroll taxes.
4. Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and other applicable laws and regulations.
5. Maintain accurate financial records using Quickbooks and prepare financial reports for senior management.
6. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure financial goals are met.
7. Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Previous experience in a financial management role within the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and payroll taxes.
4. Experience with Quickbooks and other financial software.
5. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
6. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
