We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Concrete Lead to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our operations, overseeing all aspects of concrete construction from conception to completion. This role requires a unique blend of leadership, hands-on experience, and in-depth understanding of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, job site management, and skilled construction labor. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of concrete construction projects from planning to implementation.
2. Supervise and guide crew members, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project success.
4. Manage job site operations, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
5. Ensure all safety protocols and standards are strictly adhered to, maintaining a safe and clean job site at all times.
6. Perform hands-on concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing.
7. Conduct quality control checks to ensure adherence to project specifications.
8. Resolve on-site issues and conflicts effectively and professionally.
9. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to foster a positive learning environment.
10. Participate in project planning and budgeting, providing expertise on concrete work and labor requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in concrete construction or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge of concrete materials, tools, and processes.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficient in job site management and skilled construction labor.
7. A strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings.
9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual labor.
11. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
12. Relevant certification or licensure may be required.
