Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Compliance Manager for our rapidly expanding Medical division. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our company's adherence to legal standards and in-house policies. You will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in regulatory affairs in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program.
  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.
  • Serve as liaison to pharmacy leadership and provide broad oversight for various accreditation standards, federal and
state rules and regulations, CMS Conditions of Participation, pharmacy specific accreditations held, and voluntary
regulatory standards and their interpretations.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and initiate improvements to ensure ongoing organization
compliance.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Draft and revise company policies.
  • Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses.
  • Evaluate business activities (e.g., investments) to assess compliance risk.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and HR departments.
  • Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation.
  • Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices.
  • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance.
  • Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Compliance Manager or Compliance Officer, minimum 3 years in regulatory affairs in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Certified compliance professional (CCP) certification is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in finance or MBA is a plus.
