We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our growing team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the construction industry and ready to take charge of commercial projects in various sectors such as office, retail, healthcare, and education. As a Permanent Commercial Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is key to maintaining our reputation as a leader in the commercial construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle and manage all project tasks, including scheduling, subcontractor management, and site management.
• Ensure construction activities move according to predetermined schedule, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project remains on track.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure smooth project operations.
• Manage the day-to-day work of subcontractors and ensure they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work.
• Implement and enforce site safety protocols, ensuring all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate and oversee on-site operations including personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Communicate project progress to all relevant parties, including clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or delays in the project, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing commercial projects such as office, retail, healthcare, and education.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA safety protocols, and regulations.
• Excellent ability to manage and lead a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in subcontractor management, scheduling, site management, and commercial construction.
• Demonstrated ability to make necessary decisions in high-stress situations.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
