We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly driven Superintendent to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their unique experience in the commercial construction industry. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about leading, managing, and coordinating all phases of one or more projects from preconstruction through closeout. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing ground up, renovations, tilt-ups, mid-rise construction, remodels, and tenant improvements (TI) projects.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Commercial Superintendent, you will be expected to:

1. Supervise all construction activities related to assigned projects including coordination of field staff, subcontractors, and materials to maintain schedules, safety, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
2. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to codes and specifications, and to ensure safety regulations are being followed.
3. Coordinate and manage the entire renovation process, including the selection and management of vendors and contractors.
4. Oversee tilt-up construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
5. Supervise mid-rise construction projects, ensuring all aspects are carried out to the highest standard.
6. Manage and oversee remodeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
7. Coordinate tenant improvements (TI), ensuring the needs and expectations of tenants are met.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities.
9. Review and approve project schedules, change orders, and shop drawings.
10. Resolve any issues or delays that may affect the project schedule or budget.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Commercial Superintendent position should possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent.
2. Proven experience in overseeing renovation, tilt-up, mid-rise, remodel, and tenant improvement (TI) projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
4. Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to direct and coordinate the work of others.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
7. Proficient in the use of construction management software.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
