Currently, we're on the lookout for a seasoned Permanent Commercial Superintendent specializing in ground-up large projects within the construction sector. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for a proactive individual well-versed in commercial construction, especially in overseeing substantial ground-up endeavors. The ideal candidate will boast a successful history of steering and delivering major commercial construction ventures, with expertise spanning Hospitality, Healthcare, Industrial, and Senior Living sectors.

In this role, you will be tasked with the following:

• Overseeing all phases of large-scale ground-up commercial projects from inception to completion.
• Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Managing and coordinating with the project team and subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules to be shared with clients and other staff members.
• Implementing effective communication strategy for the resolution of construction issues and conflict.
• Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to, preventing any unsafe conditions.
• Liaising with clients, architects, and other construction professionals regularly.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Extensive experience in managing large commercial construction projects, specifically ground-up projects.
• Proven experience in the Hospitality, Healthcare, Industrial, and Senior Living sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in construction management software.
• A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
