Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent for Ground Up Large Projects in the Construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual with a strong background in commercial construction, particularly in large-scale ground-up projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and executing large commercial construction projects in sectors like Hospitality, Healthcare, Industrial, and Senior Living Projects.

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Superintendent, your primary duties will include:

1. Overseeing all phases of large-scale ground-up commercial projects from inception to completion.
2. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
3. Managing and coordinating with the project team and subcontractors on a daily basis.
4. Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules to be shared with clients and other staff members.
5. Implementing effective communication strategy for the resolution of construction issues and conflict.
6. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
7. Inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
8. Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to, preventing any unsafe conditions.
9. Liaising with clients, architects, and other construction professionals regularly.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Extensive experience in managing large commercial construction projects, specifically ground-up projects.
3. Proven experience in the Hospitality, Healthcare, Industrial, and Senior Living sectors.
4. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
7. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
8. Proficient in construction management software.
9. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
