We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Commercial Sales Development Representative to join our fast-paced, innovative sales team. This role is pivotal in supporting our sales objectives and contributing to our overall growth strategy. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate is a persuasive door opener with a passion for sales. You will have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and communication skills to hunt down, manage and qualify new business deals. This role requires a highly organized and disciplined individual who is comfortable handling a high volume of work and juggling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and prospect new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and marketing campaigns.
2. Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services to facilitate the sales process.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to create new sales opportunities.
4. Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.
5. Understand and leverage key aspects of selling to ensure a successful engagement.
6. Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
7. Be a positive representation of our company and its brand in the marketplace.
8. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
9. Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.
10. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales-oriented role, specifically with cold calling, prospecting, B2B Sales, and Lead Generation.
3. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
4. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, CRM software, and sales tools.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
6. Ability to effectively communicate client needs to the sales team.
7. Strong customer service and rapport building skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
9. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
10. Self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
11. Ability to travel as needed.
