Our top-tier law firm is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Permanent Litigation Associate to join our team. This position will provide the selected candidate with the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters with a team of experienced professionals. The successful candidate will join a team that handles a full range of litigation, including business and contract disputes, court hearings, trials, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses and provide legal advice.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of legal problems to guide case strategy.
  • Handle all aspects of discovery, including taking and defending depositions.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on business and contract disputes.
  • Proven experience in drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and managing discovery.
  • Exceptional knowledge of federal and state laws, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex legal disputes.
