Job Details:

We are seeking an astute, dynamic, and highly motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including intellectual property litigation, entertainment litigation, corporate disputes, and/or real estate litigation . This full-time, permanent position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where you can truly make a difference and grow in your legal career.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee complex commercial litigation cases from the investigation phase through the appeal process.
2. Deliver expert legal advice on a range of commercial disputes, including intellectual property litigation and corporate ownership disputes.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Represent the organization in court hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
5. Conduct thorough legal research to stay abreast of changes and advancements in commercial litigation.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
7. Collaborate with legal team members to develop effective defense strategies and litigation plans.
8. Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff within the legal department.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
3. Proven experience in intellectual property litigation and corporate ownership disputes.
4. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful dispute resolution.
6. Strong analytical abilities and excellent research skills.
7. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal principles clearly and concisely.
9. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
10. Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.
11. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
