Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Commercial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters, including construction defect litigation and products liability. The successful candidate will be a part of a team that handles all aspects of commercial litigation, from initial case evaluation through post-trial proceedings.

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Litigation Associate, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters, including construction defect litigation and products liability.
2. Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
3. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on various issues related to commercial litigation.
4. Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
5. Collaborating with other attorneys and staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of legal matters.
6. Participating in client meetings and providing legal advice and guidance.
7. Keeping clients informed of case progress and legal developments.
8. Developing and implementing litigation strategies in coordination with senior attorneys.
9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and trends in commercial litigation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Commercial Litigation Associate position will have the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably with construction defect litigation and products liability experience.
4. Strong legal research and writing skills.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong negotiation skills and courtroom experience.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
