Are you passionate about construction and looking for a dynamic and challenging role? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This full-time position focuses on commercial projects, specifically within the grocery, K-12, and retail sectors. As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing, coordinating, and executing ground-up commercial projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all construction activities on-site, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhering to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, providing them with daily tasks and ensuring they adhere to the project schedule.
• Review work progress daily, solving any issues that arise and making necessary adjustments to the project timeline or resources.
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed strictly at all times to maintain a safe and secure job site.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects, providing them with regular updates and reports on the project's progress.
• Review and comprehend project blueprints, plans, and specifications, utilizing Bluebeam software.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to identify any potential issues or defects.
• Facilitate on-site coordination meetings with workers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically in commercial ground up construction.
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing ground-up commercial projects within the grocery, K-12, and retail sectors
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
• Proficiency in using construction management software. ProCore and/or Bluebeam.
• Experience in managing construction projects within the grocery or high-end retail sectors.
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
