Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team and oversee commercial and light industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction sites, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. (Required experience managing multi-million dollar industrial and commercial projects, (prefer tilt-up, steel erection and concrete experience)

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Supervise and mentor on-site construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
Oversee the implementation of project plans and specifications, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to project success, proposing solutions and contingency plans as needed.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction supervision, with a focus on commercial and light industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site teams.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Experience with construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
