CNC Technician

Responsible for providing engineering support to automated machining centers and technical solutions within the Engineering Department. Support the development, realization and implementation of new machining, equipment, and processes.

 Monitors product quality and adjusts CNC program and tools as necessary to maintain conforming product.
 Escalate to appropriate department in the event of non-conforming product.
 Performs necessary machine verification and inspections according to the process parameters guidelines.
 Reading blueprints or other instructions to determine how to operate machinery or equipment.
 Assist with the machine setup of new products or product changeover.
 Assist with machine repairs and troubleshooting.
 Completes machine interval inspections (integrity and functionality)
 Tracks, record, and communicate all parameters changes to respective Engineering representative.
 Monitors cutting tools and consumable/spare part inventories to ensure the equipment does not run out of necessary parts or material.
 Monitor and initiate feedback for continuously improving machining process.
 Monitor cleanliness and 5S of the workstation.
 Assist in any area of the factory as directed by Engineers or Manager.
 Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his/her department and supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement, and communication.

Required proficiencies and additional qualification:

• Experience in all common of CNC machines and programming
• Working knowledge of Auto CAD, and/or Solid Works preferred
• Five, plus years’ experience in automated manufacturing environment preferred
• Robot programming experience preferred
• Siemens PLC programming skills preferred
