We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in setting up, testing, and adjusting manufacturing machinery or equipment, using any combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies. You will be responsible for creating and improving CNC programs for our manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest level of efficiency and accuracy in our production processes. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling applications, machine tool controls, and a solid background in programming using software such as GibbsCAM, MasterCam, and Surfcam.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and optimize CNC programs using GibbsCAM, MasterCam, and Surfcam for various CNC machines including but not limited to CNC mill, moriseki, and Kitamura.
2. Interpret and understand complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the best method of machining to achieve the desired outcome.
3. Perform machine setups and trials, troubleshoot and correct errors, and provide technical support to the machine operators.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest machining techniques and practices, and apply this knowledge to improve existing processes.
5. Work closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in our production processes.
6. Use Fanuc controls to ensure the effective operation of CNC machines.
7. Monitor and adjust feed and speeds, tooling and fixturing, and machine parameters to maximize production efficiency.
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety in the workplace.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
2. Extensive experience with CNC mill, moriseki, GibbsCAM, MasterCam programming, surfcam, tool and dye, Fanuc controls, Kitamura, and CNC Machine Operation.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
4. Strong knowledge of machining operations, tooling, and production equipment.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. Commitment to adhering to all safety and quality standards in the workplace.
8. Relevant certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
