Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud/Infrastructure Architect to join our retail team. You will play a pivotal role in our digital transformation, shaping and executing our cloud strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud-based solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the delivery of high-quality solutions to meet our business needs. This role will require you to leverage your technical expertise and retail industry knowledge to design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of our cloud architecture, ensuring it aligns with the company’s business requirements and IT strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement business relevant solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud platform components and services to support the deployment of applications onto the platform.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
• Drive the adoption of cloud and infrastructure as a service across the organization.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development teams during the solution design and build phases.
• Collaborate with other architects and technical leads to ensure that the overall enterprise architecture is cohesive and evolving.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of cloud services and tools.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software architecture and design.
• Must have 2-3 years in a retail environment.
• Proven experience in designing solutions in cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Data Integration patterns and tools.
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
• Experience with SOA/Microservices.
• Experience working with COTS enterprise-class applications.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise automation products.
• Proven experience in designing, execution and delivery of cloud-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good relationships with customers and work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
