Responsibilities:

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, your duties will include:

1. Designing, managing, and provisioning robust and scalable cloud solution infrastructure.
2. Maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure for microservices on the cloud.
3. Utilizing your experience with AWS to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
4. Implementing best practices for site reliability and ensuring optimal performance of all systems.
5. Utilizing Kubernetes and Docker for orchestration of services and deployment.
6. Developing and maintaining high availability applications in the cloud.
7. Collaborating with the development team to streamline deployment processes.
8. Implementing robust security measures, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
9. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
10. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the technology industry.
2. Extensive experience with AWS and a solid understanding of cloud-based systems.
3. Experience working with microservices infrastructure on Cloud.
4. Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker is highly desirable.
5. Strong knowledge of high availability applications in the Cloud.
6. A proven track record in site reliability.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
10. Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Docker would be an added advantage.
