Job Details:
Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) Manager. This critical role will oversee and manage all client accounting needs, providing insightful financial analysis and advisory services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in establishing internal controls, preparing financial forecasts, and customizing client reports. They will also have a knack for business development, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and managing special projects. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, implement, and oversee internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Manage the preparation of business entity activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Create customized reports for clients based on their specific needs.
• Oversee the production of business activity reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP or financial reporting standards.
• Work closely with clients to assess their changing business and financial needs.
• Present recommendations to management on short and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Prepare and analyze client KPIs and other management reports.
• Provide ongoing advice to clients on historical financial information and financial projections.
• Oversee client engagement team through monthly/quarterly/period-end processes, including review of month-end balancing, journal entries, analysis of GL accounts, and financial statements.
• Utilize technology to account for all accounting transactions for clients and provide recommendations to streamline processes.
• Participate in business development and identify opportunities to cross-sell value-added services to clients.
• Conduct client billing as needed.
• Assist with due diligence and advisory transaction services.
• Provide project management for special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proven experience in establishing internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Experience in business development and cross-selling.
• Strong financial analysis skills with a focus on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing KPIs and other management reports.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with clients to assess their changing business and financial needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology to account for all accounting transactions and streamlining processes.
• Experience in conducting client billing and assisting with due diligence and advisory transaction services.
