Job Details

Seeking a Civil Site Engineer (Public Works) with a Professional Engineer license and a minimum of 5 years of experience. The primary role involves serving as an Engineer within a team of engineers and drafters, handling a range of public works and site development projects. Project scopes encompass roadways, storm sewer systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, water distribution systems, stormwater detention and treatment facilities, site layout, site grading, and more.

Additional responsibilities may include participating in business development activities focused on specific target areas and interfacing with project clients. Exceptional client service and technical proficiency are essential. Proactive and assertive approaches to meeting client/end-user needs are desirable traits.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Missouri or Kansas
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience leading civil design efforts for public works or site development projects
  • Strong technical design background
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. design codes and standards
