Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Civil Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, leading a team of professionals to successfully complete these projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of civil construction projects, from initial planning to final completion, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle management, including feasibility studies, design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate and manage the design-build process, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and requirements.
• Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure optimal performance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication at all times.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that all work is carried out within budget.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Manage project risks, implementing mitigation measures where necessary.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil project management, with a focus on heavy civil, paving, underground, concrete, and design-build projects.
• Expert knowledge of construction methods and materials, particularly granite.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make effective decisions.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
