We are in search of a highly motivated individual to take on the role of Senior Project Engineer/Manager, focusing on the design of civil and mechanical systems supporting Water & Wastewater Treatment processes. In this capacity, you will work closely with various design engineering teams and operate in a senior engineer/managerial role. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of design engineering for the designated systems, including the management of subordinates and subconsultants.

We seek candidates with expertise and experience in the design, specifications, and related engineering tasks related to equipment and systems used in water and wastewater treatment facilities, encompassing pumping systems, blowers, aeration systems, anaerobic digestion, biological treatment, disinfection, and various piping systems.

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an individual eager to develop the technical proficiency required to lead intricate mechanical systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Executing the design of Mechanical Systems for water/wastewater projects.
  • Conducting engineering calculations to determine equipment and system performance parameters for equipment sizing.
  • Collaborating with equipment manufacturers to identify the most technically suitable design solutions.
  • Adhering to company and industry design standards during the design development phase.
  • Generating engineering deliverables such as Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), Mechanical arrangement drawings, and Equipment, Piping, and Valve specifications.
  • Reviewing submissions from manufacturers or contractors, including data, reports, etc., to ensure compliance with B&V criteria.
  • Coordinating with other design disciplines and project stakeholders.
  • Supervising EIT and entry-level PEs throughout the design, permitting, bidding, and construction phases.
  • Managing and coordinating sub-consultants.

Required Qualifications
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program, either in your home country or the country where you practice professionally.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include various checks such as criminal/civil background, drug screening, and motor vehicle records, as mandated by applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in creating detailed project drawings and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with material selection and sizing of piping systems.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic principles.
  • Strong organizational and time management aptitude.
  • Independent and critical thinking abilities.
  • Reliable and self-sufficient with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
