Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent Civil Engineer (PE) with Municipal Roadway Design to join our esteemed team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to bring their expertise in managing transportation design projects within the construction industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and execution of transportation construction projects, with a specific focus on roadway design and drainage systems. Responsibilities

1. Oversee the design and execution of transportation construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Utilize AutoCAD and Civil3D to create and modify transportation design plans, including roadway design and drainage systems.
3. Coordinate with project teams, including designers, engineers, and construction staff, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
4. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to junior project team members, resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
6. Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders, providing clear and accurate information on project status, challenges, and achievements.


Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in municipal roadway design using Civil3D
3. Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Arizona.
4. Extensive experience in roadway design and roadway drainage system layout and design.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
6. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to oversee large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.
