Responsibilities:
The role of a Civil Engineer at our firm is a dynamic and multifaceted one, offering an array of engaging responsibilities. As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of:

• Spearheading land and site development projects with a focus on technical design, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and skillful project management.
• Taking the lead in business development initiatives concentrated in a specific target area, contributing to our growth and expansion.
• Nurturing project client relationships and serving as a dedicated point of contact to ensure their satisfaction.
• Exercising financial acumen to manage projects effectively, optimizing resources for successful outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with our team to establish ambitious goals aligned with our business objectives.
• Leveraging your expertise in the City of Houston and/or Harris County design processes, a critical component of the role.

Qualifications:
At our firm, we seek candidates who bring color, passion, and excellence to their work. To flourish in this role, you should possess:

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas
• A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a Master's degree considered a valuable asset.
• A substantial 4+ years of relevant project experience, with a preference for 5-8 years of expertise.
• Proven proficiency in managing civil/site development projects, demonstrating leadership and finesse.
• A solid foundation in civil design efforts, particularly within the realm of public works or site development projects.
• A deep technical design background, reflecting your commitment to excellence in your work.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with impeccable organizational abilities.
• A comprehensive understanding of local and U.S. design codes and standards, ensuring the highest levels of compliance.
• Local experience that enhances your ability to hit the ground running in this role.
