Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of land development projects, from residential subdivisions to commercial and industrial sites. You will be responsible for designing and managing projects, preparing engineering reports and plans, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and manage land development projects, including but not limited to site layout, grading, drainage, streets, and utilities.
2. Prepare and modify engineering reports, plans, and drawings.
3. Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering plans and specifications.
4. Coordinate with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
5. Perform engineering calculations and analysis.
6. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications.
7. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
9. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
10. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Must have Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in land development engineering.
4. Proficient in Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
5. Excellent knowledge of local, state, and federal land development regulations and guidelines.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output.
10. Strong organizational and project management skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
