Civil Construction Project Manager

We are in search of a dynamic and highly skilled Civil Construction Project Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional looking to make a significant impact on our company's construction projects. As a Civil Construction Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead and manage large-scale projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of civil construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Develop and manage project schedules using CPM scheduling techniques.
3. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget by managing resources effectively.
4. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards are met.
5. Control project costs and manage budgets effectively, ensuring maximum profitability.
6. Lead and coordinate teams of construction workers and subcontractors.
7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
8. Use Heavybid software for accurate and efficient construction estimating.
9. Utilize Microsoft P6 for project management tasks.
10. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
11. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in construction management, specifically within the manufacturing industry.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role.
4. Proven experience with CPM scheduling, time management, and quality control.
5. Strong knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles.
6. Proficiency in Heavybid and Microsoft P6.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
11. A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not required.
