Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and strategies. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This role also involves financial risk management, strategic planning, and providing leadership and direction to the finance team.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
2. Oversee all financial operations including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation.
3. Implement and maintain internal control policies, procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
4. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
5. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
6. Enhance, develop, implement, and enforce financial policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
7. Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
8. Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends.
9. Drive the company’s FP&A function, ensuring accurate forecasting and enabling the leadership team to make data-driven decisions.
10. Leverage Sales Analytics and Power BI to drive insights and optimize financial performance.
11. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, ideally in the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of success.
3. Strong FP&A and Sales Analytics experience is required.
4. Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
5. Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff.
6. Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
7. Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.
8. Substantial experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
9. Skill in examining, developing, reengineering, and recommending financial policies and procedures.
10. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
11. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
12. Flexibility and ability to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions.
